Paperwork your funding body can work with
Most school playgrounds are funded in part by a grant, a P&C campaign or a mix. We have supported applications for years and know what assessors want to see. We can't promise eligibility for any program, but we can make your submission easy to assess.
Itemised quotes
Equipment, softfall, site works, certification and installation as separate lines, so a grant panel or business manager can compare like with like.
Concept drawings
Free 2D and 3D concepts of your actual site, ready to attach to an application or show your school council.
Help with applications
We can talk through the program you are targeting, such as inclusive-schools funds, state school infrastructure programs or community benefit funds, and shape the scope to suit it.
Staged to your budget
If funding lands in rounds, we can split the design into stages so each stage is a complete, compliant playground on its own.
Compliant, certified and guaranteed
AS 4685 and AS 4422
Equipment designed and installed to AS 4685, with impact-attenuating softfall to AS 4422 at the right depth for the fall heights on your playground.
Inspected by a qualified inspector
Our founder, Tim Rand, is a qualified AS 4685 playground inspector. Your playground is checked by someone who does this for a living.

Schools we have built for
Common questions
How long does a school playground take?
It depends on the size of the playground, the site and when your funding is confirmed. We give you a realistic timeline with your quote rather than a generic number.
Can you install during school holidays?
Yes. We plan installs around your term dates, with school holidays being the usual choice so children are not on site. Tell us your preferred window when you enquire.
Do we need shade over the playground?
Many schools add shade, and it is worth planning for early because it affects the layout and footings. We can design with shade in mind or quote it as an option.
Does the playground need fencing?
It depends on the site, the age group and your school's own policies. We will flag anything that affects fencing during the concept stage so it is in the budget from the start.
What age ranges do you cater for?
We supply equipment for 2 to 5 year olds, for 5 to 12 year olds, and mixed-age layouts. Equipment, fall heights and softfall are matched to the ages using the space.
Can you help with a grant application?
Yes. We supply itemised quotes and concept drawings, and we can talk through the program you are applying to. Eligibility and outcomes are decided by the funding body, and we do not promise either.
Planning a school playground?
Send us the site and a rough budget. We will come back with a free concept and an itemised quote you can use in your grant application.
