Wet-pour rubber is poured and cured on site as a seamless surface, with its thickness engineered to your equipment's critical fall height — the greater the potential fall, the thicker the impact-absorbing base layer. Because it's installed as one continuous surface rather than loose material, it doesn't shift, compact or need topping up.

It depends entirely on your equipment's critical fall height — taller equipment needs a thicker impact-absorbing base layer. We calculate and test the exact build-up as part of your design to meet AS 4422.
Can we choose our own colours?
Yes — wet-pour is our most design-flexible surface. Try your own colour combinations in our Rubber Colour Blender, and we can add patterns, games markings or logos into the pour.
How long does wet-pour rubber last?
Typically 10–15 years with normal use, though UV exposure gradually affects impact performance over time — checked as part of an annual inspection.
Is wet-pour rubber worth the higher upfront cost?
For most sites, yes — it asks almost nothing of you afterwards, unlike loose-fill surfaces that need regular topping up. Over the life of the playground, total cost is often lower than it first appears.
