Australia's playground people, since 2015
Our story
Kidzspace is a family-run business that began in 2015, out of Brendale, QLD, with a simple idea: Australian schools, councils and communities deserved commercial playgrounds that were genuinely well-designed, properly compliant, and built to last.
Since then, we've delivered over 1,000 playground projects nationwide and expanded our services to include soft fall surfacing, shade sails, site preparation, and landscaping — providing a complete solution from concept to completion.
We're Australian-owned and hands-on: when you call Kidzspace, you talk to the people who design and build your playground.
Kidzspace was founded by Tim Rand, who still leads the business today from our Brendale, QLD head office.
Tim is qualified as a playground inspector to AS 4685, the Australian standard for playground equipment, so the people designing and quoting your project also know what an independent inspector will look for at handover.
Every quote is fixed-price and itemised, so you can see what is included (equipment, softfall, site preparation, installation and certification) before you commit. We also publish our indicative pricing openly in our playground cost guide.
What you can expect
Timeless designs
Great playgrounds should look just as impressive in ten years as they do on the day they're installed. That's why we focus on timeless design principles, combining thoughtful layouts, balanced colour palettes, and enduring architectural forms to create spaces that stand the test of time.
End-to-end
We're committed to the success of every project we deliver. From your initial enquiry through to design, supply, installation, and handover, our team works closely with you to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience every step of the way.
One project, one team
Creating a successful playground requires more than just great equipment — it requires coordination, communication, and attention to detail at every stage. That's why we manage the entire process from start to finish.
