Wet Pour Rubber
Please note that some colours of the top layer rubber will change colour after being installed. The discolouration is a yellowing look and will go away after further exposure to sunlight and foot traffic. This happens because the UV ray causes a reaction with the polyurethane binder. Some colours get affected more than others, the colours we have noticed that get affected the most is light blues, greens, grey, white and cream.

We do not warrant colour change.

We do not warrant damages done to freshly poured rubber by animals and birds.

We do not warrant the shrinkage of rubber. Due to Australian conditions the Softfall rubber may tend to shrink and separate from fixed edges, or when joining to existing rubber it may tend to separate from the edges.

Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies to Kidzspace products for the time periods described for each product type above and with the limitations described in this warranty. The warranty period applies from the date Kidzspace warehouse receives the order, by the first customer

Proper Installation and maintenance
The warranty only applies if Kidzspace products have been installed according to the instructions provided by Kidzspace and maintained correctly according to the Kidzspace Guidelines. All warranty claims shall be accompanied by full documentation for proper installation and maintenance. Timber that is exposed to the weather may crack, distort shape and weather to some degree and is excluded from this guarantee where the structural integrity of the equipment is not unduly effected. It is strongly recommended that all timber items are periodically treated with Sikkens Cetol HLSe Mahogany. The frequency of treatment will be dependent on the location and environmental conditions.

Warranty Exclusions
The above stated guarantees do not cover: cosmetic defects such as scratches, dents, or fading of paint; damage due to fire, water, vermin or insect infestation, vandalism, corrosion, improper shipment, incorrect installation, misuse, exposure to extreme weather or environmental conditions, or lack of maintenance; theft or circumstances beyond Kidzspace’s control.

Near Water Installations
In highly corrosive environments it is strongly recommended that all equipment is regularly washed with clean water to prevent any build-up of rust causing minerals. This is particularly important where the equipment is positioned under a permanent shade structure and cannot be naturally washed by rain. Products installed in direct contact with chlorinated water or saltwater (Waterparks), or products installed within 200 metres from the shore are not covered by the Kidzspace warranty for any defects caused by corrosion. Specially designed products (handled via the department for customised products), provided they have been upgraded to zinc coating corrosion protection, installed within 200 metres from the shore (and not in direct contact with saltwater/spray of saltwater or chlorinated water (e.g. water parks)) shall, subject to the applicable warranty period for each product type set out in the general warranty, be covered only against structural failure caused by corrosion (excluding moving parts) and under no circumstances for any period longer than 10 years.

Freight & Warehousing
Transport and logistics arranged by Kidzspace appointed forwarder. Products/items are not to be stored outside waiting for installation for long periods of time as the plastic can cause damage to the equipment.

In Addition
A part is covered only for the original warranty period. Once the original warranty period on a part has expired, the warranty on any replaced or repaired part also expires. Any alterations, modifications or additions made to the equipment by an unauthorised person or not in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions will void this warranty. All claims must be made directly to Kidzspace and accompanied by proof of purchase. Kidzspace will,
- Pay transport costs for the return of the defective products to Kidzspace, but only if returned by the purchaser in strict accordance with the written instructions of Kidzspace and its request.
- Pay the costs for the transport of the repaired or replaced products to the purchaser. Kidzspace will not pay the costs of labour for the removal or installation of the alleged defective product.
